Directed by Jesse Dylan and starring Will Ferrell, “Kicking and Screaming” follows the story of a struggling soccer coach who must lead a team of misfit kids to victory.

On the K-pop idol front, we’ve seen this interest in how all seven members of BTS were welcomed to the Louis Vuitton family in 2021, and Blackpink members’ long-standing individual partnerships with brands (Jennie with Chanel, Jisoo with Dior, Lisa with Celine and Rosé with YSL). In the past, the title of brand ambassador was only bestowed upon veteran actors and idol group members with years of experience. It was rare for rookies, or stars new to the entertainment scene, to represent luxury brands right away.

You both studied at Konstfack, in Stockholm. How did your time in Sweden influence your design? Ada Chirakranont: “The school is a mix of arts, craft and design. In Thailand, if you are a designer, it’s very separate from being an artist but [in Sweden] we felt like we could do artwork even if we weren’t studying it. It changed our way of thinking because the environment was more free.”

Ever since the pandemic the beauty and makeup space has seen drastic changes and one such is the rise in love for clean and lowkey looks. Though we haven’t forgotten our classic red lips or colourful bold eye shadows which we ace occasionally, minimal and no-makeup looks have been trending and we even see celebrity brides opting for such looks pacing up the trend to trickle across all social strata. Now we see that makeup has all come down to just concealer, nude lips and clear mascaras to most of us, whose zoom meetings are incomplete with it!
